A performance by the internationally acclaimed Australian pianist, David Helfgott OAM.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Academy Award winning, Australian film, “Shine”, which was nominated for an astonishing seven Academy Awards, The 74 year old is a national treasure, awarded an Order of Australia Medal for his service to the performing arts, following a career spanning seven decades.

Having performed at prestigious venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall this is Canberra’s chance to witness this amazing talent live in concert.

Tickets $65 – $79 + $5.95 bf via venue.

Due to the stay-at-home orders issued for Greater Sydney and the uncertainty around the current COVID-19 outbreak which now also impacts the hometown of the artist, Mr. David Helfgott OAM, we will regrettably be postponing his upcoming concert in Canberra on Friday 30 July. The safety and wellbeing of the artist, patrons and our staff is paramount, we want to ensure we avoid any unnecessary risk.

The promoter has been working closely with the venue and management to re-schedule the concert for Thursday, 16 December 2021. Existing ticket holders are encouraged to retain their tickets as they will be valid for the new show date. If patrons are unable to attend the new date, full refunds will be offered.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we look forward to seeing you in Canberra later in the year.
