The Chesterfield Bands debut EP Early Days builds on the bands previous two successful single releases Imagining Nothing At All, which continues to be featured on Tiger Airway flights around Australia and their single Home, which has received airplay on radio stations worldwide.
Early Days is a collection of songs taken from the beginning, when Tess (just turned 14) and CC (her Dad) were writing and playing together in their kitchen. 3½ years later the duo were joined by experienced and seasoned musicians Craig Marshalsey and Dylan Harding, one of the hottest rhythm sections in Australia.
In 2018 the band travelled more than 15000km playing 100 + shows in major festivals and venues around the country. 2019 is set to be their biggest year yet, with more Australian shows and a European tour in July.
Early Days highlights the bands versatility as the listener is given a sweet bag of ear candy with tasteful bursts of indie, pop, roots and at times a harder edged blues vibe.
The Chesterfield Band will perform at Smith’s Alternative on Saturday, 9 March. Their debut EP Early Days is available now from Bandcamp (link below) and on digital platforms from 14 March. They shall be supporting the EP Launch of Muddy Wolfe.
