That’s a wrap on the 2024 MAMAs!
In an energetic and inspiring evening at Dairy Road’s pop-up music space The Vault, the 2024 MusicACT Music Awards returned and welcomed hundreds of ACT’s artists, creatives musicians and industry workers to celebrate all things Canberra music.
The MusicACT Music Awards set out to celebrate and elevate the diverse music industry in the ACT. The night featured performances from local artists Jett Blyton, st.sinner, Zi Shana and Flik as well as MusicACT Hall of Fame inductions for the contributions and achievements of Canberra-grown EDM heavyweights Peking Duk, the renowned national Metal for the Brain festival and the beloved Heaven Nightclub.
7 categories were awarded in addition to the Hall of Fame inductions, with Artist of the Year, Best Release of the Year and Independent Debut Record of the Year voted by an independent industry judging panel and four public-voted categories; Event of the Year, DJ of the Year, Industry Legend and Live Act of the Year.
