With Allan Sko

You know the print mag; you know the website. Now, BMA is coming in your ears with the first in a series of audio podcasty interview thingys (industry term) in which we catch up with the best and brightest this glittering entertainment world has to offer, as well as dig into the archives and present the recorded interviews with the likes of Jimmy Carr, Guy Pearce, Beck, Dylan Moran, The Dollop, Eddie Izzard, Bill Bailey and many more besides.

To kick off the series, who better than award-winning local legend and all round Rap God (bring it, Eminem) Citizen Kay; solo artist, producer and one half of gong-grabbing duo The Ansah Brothers alongside his fine sibling.

Bossman Allan Sko sits down in the palatial BMA Towers for a great 40+ minute chat with the Kay-meister covering all topics from touring with Public Enemy (and what Chuck D is really like), his life and music philosophy, exciting plans for the future and the process of receiving and sending beats and how that gels with the rapper/producer accordingly. You’ll discover/confirm he is a great man, generous with his answers, with his head in the sky and his feet firmly planted on the ground.

Enjoy!
