Who, or indeed What, is BMA?

BMA is the Southern Hemisphere’s longest-running arts & music guide, celebrating and promoting artists and their art, and acting as the connective tissue between them, and the cherished 25,000+ readership that has gathered over 31 years.

We do this through a monthly full-colour magazine + companion website (you’re on it right now! Look!) giving the latest on music releases, touring artists and DJs, local acts, movies, theatre, art, comedy and more.

Where can you get it?

BMA Magazine is distributed every month to over 500 locations throughout the ACT and surrounding NSW. Main distribution points include; tertiary campuses, retailers, cafes, nightclubs, hotels, pubs, salons, supermarkets, galleries, theatres, cinemas and more.

Artwork specifications

Colour: CMYK or grayscale only. Files submitted in RGB will be converted to CMYK, and changes in colour may occur.

Resolution: 300dpi, file format JPEG, PSD, PDF, or TIFF

*Bleed: Adding 5mm to your existing artwork ensures important dates, text, or logos from being cut off in the trimming process.
