City-changing protections for music venues and cultural activity are nearly in force in Canberra, thanks to Minister Tara Cheyne @in_the_taratory.
But you need to vote to get this right, forever. The final consultation is on sound laws: how high do we go? The options aren’t perfect, but the highest option will allow new venues to open and old venues to be confident as hotels and apartments infiltrate the city. The other options are a wasted opportunity.
