A mixed media exhibition by participants of the Belconnen Community Service Bungee Program in celebration of Youth Week.
Participants in the term one Bungee after-school and in-school expressive art classes have created artworks using a variety of media such as photography, printmaking, weaving, painting, felting and sculpture to respond to the theme of “The Land and the Sky”.
Participants’ creative responses were informed by their participation in group discussions about different landscape and skyscape features and colours and the animals, plants and people that inhabit them. Participants also talked about threats to our natural environment and how we can help to preserve it for the future.
