On this one night in August, three psychobilly bands from across three borders will invade The Basement in Canberra.
Featuring the Traumaboys from Melbourne (ex-Manic Pistoleros), Better Off Ted (with Zombie Ghost Train’s Captain Rekless) from Sydney, and Good Korpse Bad Korpse from Canberra, this is one psycho-fuelled night of Australian psychobilly music you can’t miss.
About the Bands:
Drowning in reverb and reeking of toxic twang, Traumaboys echo a bizarre cocktail of melodic uppers and downers like the resident, psychotic prom band of the underground.
Better Off Ted (Sydney)
Rising from 1/3 of the ashes left in the middle of a cemetery after Zombie Ghost Train took their last bow, Better Off Ted band picks up the psychobilly vibe with a Teddy Boy twist. Featuring Larry – upright bass, Dean – drums, Captain Reckless – guitar.
Good Korpse Bad Korpse (Canberra)
Good Korpse Bad Korpse is the is the newest female fronted psychobilly band to hit the scene. Their sound brings together an eclectic mix of psychobilly, punk, and surf, with the driving raw power of 90’s rock that bring together a unique sound of their own.
