We’re bringing Melting Pot back to the Capital! An intimate night of original & improvised funk, soul, jazz & blues by some of very best in the scene. John Mackey’s Melting Pot band will be joined by special guest, Sydney-based pianist & composer, Matt McMachon. Matt has performed with many of Australia’s most respected musicians. He has received several awards and has released three of his own albums, as well as seven in collaboration with others. The evening will be full of local booze, nibbles + tasteful tunes.

JEP is becoming the go-to, young jazz act for venues across Canberra. Their fresh improvisational sound combines synths, bass groove and hypnotic beats. With a focus on original tunes, this dynamic trio fuses elements of jazz, funk, hip-pop and straight up groove.
