Chins is a 5-piece indie rock band based in Canberra that began as a project in 2019. Now with COVID passing in Canberra, their audiences are finally getting on their feet to Chins’ massive variety of original songs…. And with their debut single “Room 82” containing the chalk and cheese songs “Bojack” and “Margo” they get to show off their skill and diversity. Who knows what’s gonna come next.
Kaitlin, Chad, and Pauly are The Huneez – an indie pop trio hailing from Wollongong, NSW, playing some of the sweetest beats and juiciest jams around. Combining soulful melodies, funky rhythms, and some pleasantly piquant grooves into an assortment of original tracks, The Huneez will have you tapping your feet and moving from your seat. Their debut single, Morning Blue, has been streamed over 17,000 times across multiple platforms.
Described as “rock with an intelligent edge”, Flowermarket is an Indie Rock outfit from the nation’s capital. With an evolving sound, their style consists of of a tight blend of Australian indie, pop rock and effects-driven shoegaze, with the occasional dip into hard rock riffs and high energy grooves. In May of 2020, the four piece recorded and released their debut EP “flower*market” which highlighted the songwriting strengths of frontman Ed York. Over the past year Flowermarket has been refining their craft during the abundance of COVID-induced downtime, and is ready to show Canberra what they’re capable of.
