Coolio Desgracias and Housemouse have been making bangers and rockin shows together since 2012. Coolio’s lugubrious baritone and Housemouse’s high-pitched flow are a perfect fit – the two lyrical technicians dextrously weave rhymes over the most eclectic beats this side of Oaks Estate. They have released 3 EPs and their debut album Deep In The Mick dropped in 2018.
Since then they have been baking mad cakes at Futurefunk Laboratories, the fruits being Keepin It Small – a kalaidescopic journey of hip hop flavours, drawing on a wide range of influences and ways of styling/chopping. The album was produced by Reuben Ingall and features art by Ed Radclyffe and cameos from Andy (Los Chavos), Tha 2 Inch Grinch (The Burley Griffin) and 3OB.
For the launch they will be joined by grizzled vets Babyfreeze, who are well known for their insidious pop hooks, physical stage show and sartorial elan. They are CBRs answer to the A Team, and between them they could suplex you, fossilize your rabbits, make a risk assessment of your intranet or have you deported. Can you guess which one is Hannibal?
