What started as a small duet for the 2019 Festival has since become a fully-fledged major work, an invitation into landscape, culture, language and Country.
Reaping standing ovations at the Sydney Festival, William Barton and Véronique Serret have emerged as the new power duo of Australian music, melding our western music traditions with the ancient sounds of the land we live on: heartland.
