Jeff & Deej Band host CBS June Blues Jam
Traditional and contemporary Roots music featuring Canberra’s Blues force of nature, Dorothy-Jane ‘Deej’ ‘DJ’ Gosper – powerhouse contralto vocal, distinctive blues-harping and captivating stage presence.
Jeff Prime – Jeff’s background is steeped in the Blues, evident in his superb resonator, acoustic and electric guitar accompaniment and soloing.
Jeff and DJ are also song-writers. Six of their original songs are on their debut album, “Blues By Candlelight”. Their affinity for Traditional Blues is also apparent, with standards dating back to the 1920’s.
Their groovy rhythm section is Dean Edgecombe on bass guitar and Gavin Kelly on drums.
The host band will be followed by some of the finest musicians in the Canberra region jamming together for a fabulous afternoon of live Blues music.This is a COVID safe event.

Due to the German Club markets, this month’s Jam will commence at 2pm.
