The Black Mountain String Band is a celebration of string-band music in all its forms.
It combines fiddles and banjos along with guitar and double bass to draw from a deep wellspring of tradition, and adds timeless original material, cleverly arranging its material in a seamless presentation that will delight afficianados and new audiences alike. The band comprises Donal Baylor, Jacqueline Bradley, Matt Nightingale, and Pablo Shopen, continuing the revival of Pablo’s father’s band of the same name from the 1970’s.
