An Aussie Pink Summer Afternoon

Canberra get ready to shake off the Winter Blues, and put on some Summer Pink! How does an afternoon of art, music, and 16 local rosé sound?

If you love an Aussie rosé you’re going to love this event.

The Food and Wine Marshall, in collaboration with aMBUSH Gallery, would like to invite you to spend a hot summer afternoon wandering through the very cool space that is the aMBUSH Gallery in the Kambri Precinct, sipping on a local chilled pink, indulging in some psychedelic artwork and discussing the finer points of what makes a good rosé.

Not only will there be the most fabulous pink being poured by 15 Canberra region winemakers, but Australian iconic artist, Reg Mombassa, will have his exhibition, Psychedelic Realism, on show for the first time in the gallery. Meander through the exhibition and amaze your senses with the intrinsically Aussie art style of one of Australia’s most loved and renowned artists, the inimitable Reg Mombassa, while tasting the prettiest blush from the Canberra Wine region, along with delicious grazing tables laden with cheese and charcuterie.

Meet Canberra’s winemakers and learn why rosé is not just a lovely pink wine that we sip when it’s hot, but just how many different varietals and styles we have across the Canberra wine region, and why it should be a fav all throughout the year. Make this an educational afternoon not to be missed.

Afterwards, head out into the warm summer evening and discover the vibrant and lively food vendors that are dotted throughout the Kambri Precinct for an early bite to eat before heading home.
