With the 50th Anniversary of Canberra Centre approaching, Dendy Cinemas have the pleasure of assisting with the celebrations by hosting two classic fashion film nights in March.
The first event will take place on Wednesday March 6, with a screening of a film loved by many, the 1961 classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s. A young New York socialite (Audrey Hepburn) becomes interested in a young man who has moved into her apartment building.
The second event will showcase the ever so popular Sex and the City movie. The film continues from the hit TV show, with Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) a New York writer on sex and love finally getting married to her Mr. Big (Chris Noth). The movie will screen on Wednesday March 20.
Both events will be held at Dendy and the price is $15: sparkling on arrival, popcorn, lucky door prizes, mini fashion workshop and feature movie presentation. Bookings are essential for these once off screenings, and can be made by phoning (02) 6221 8900 or visiting dendy.com.au, but thanks to Dendy we have two double passes – one to each screening – to give away. If you’d like one, email firstname.lastname@example.org, tell him which film you want to see and why the film you want to see is infinitely more fashionable than the other.
